TAYLOR HEADS TO NATIONALS!!!

This past weekend at the NCAA Regionals in Arkansas, B2M Founding Member, Scholar, and Past President, JAMARIO TAYLOR, punched his ticket to the NCAA National Championships for High Jump!

It marks the first time that a Western Illinois University Track & Field student-athlete has qualified for the NCAA Championships since the 2005-06 season.

Taylor used a jump of 7'-1" in the NCAA West Regional high jump competition to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships.

"Jamario came through with a big jump as usual. Assistant coach Samantha Linck and Jamario had a great jump plan and they stuck to it through the entire competition," said head coach David Beauchem. "He stepped up at the absolute most challenging time and nailed both of his late attempts to qualify for the national championships. It was classic Jamario under pressure, which is when he performs at his best."

Jamario will compete at the National NCAA National Championships June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.

"I've prepared for this moment for years. It's almost surreal.  I'm so honored, so blessed, so fired up, and so ready to jump," said Taylor.

Jamario is a graduate of East Aurora High School where he served as Senior Class President. During his senior year in high school, he clinched the IHSA State Championship High Jump title.

We are so proud of you, Jamario!
