Jamario Taylor crowned state champion

This past weekend, Jamario Taylor won the high jump at the IHSA Boys' Track and Field State Finals. Taylor jumped 7'0'' and broke the previous school record of 6'9'' held by A.Toma back in 1985. Kendrick Cross also completed in the long jump on Friday. The senior jumped 21'1.75" in the prelims but failed to make Saturdays Finals. Cross had a great season with a personal best jump of 22'8.0" and won many invitationals outdoors.
